Service
Cybersecurity
We assess, harden and monitor systems against the controls your mission and contracts require, and we write findings that an engineer can act on the same week.
In this service
- Security assessments
- Vulnerability management
- System hardening
- NIST-aligned control implementation
- Identity and access review
- Incident readiness
Overview
Where this actually helps.
Most security incidents do not begin with anything sophisticated. They begin with an unpatched service, a reused password, an exposed storage bucket or an account that should have been closed months ago.
We start with a plain inventory of what is exposed, who has access and what is out of date, then work through it in order of risk. Controls are mapped to the frameworks your program uses, typically NIST SP 800-53 or NIST SP 800-171, so remediation work feeds directly into your compliance documentation.
We do not sell fear or tools. The output is a short list of what matters, fixed or scheduled, with evidence that it was done.
What this covers
Capabilities.
An engagement is scoped from these. Nothing here is a package: the combination depends on what you already have.
Security assessments
A structured review of applications, infrastructure and configuration against a stated framework, with findings ranked by actual risk.
Vulnerability management
Scheduled scanning, triage, remediation tracking and verification, so known vulnerabilities have an owner and a closing date.
System hardening
Secure baseline configuration for servers, containers, cloud accounts and network devices, aligned to CIS Benchmarks where applicable.
Control implementation
Technical implementation of NIST SP 800-53 and 800-171 controls, with the evidence needed for an SSP, POA&M or assessment.
Identity and access review
Least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, service account cleanup and a documented joiner, mover and leaver process.
Incident readiness
Logging, alerting and a written incident response plan, tested in a tabletop exercise before it is needed for real.
How we work
How an engagement runs.
Four stages, in this order, on every project. The detail changes; the sequence does not.
-
01
Scope
Systems, data types, applicable frameworks and rules of engagement agreed in writing before any testing begins.
-
02
Assess
Configuration review, vulnerability scanning and manual verification, recorded against each control in scope.
-
03
Remediate
Fixes applied or handed to your team in priority order, each with a clear description, owner and verification step.
-
04
Sustain
Ongoing scanning, patch tracking and periodic review so the improved posture does not quietly decay.

Technical scope
What we work with.
Established tools chosen because they fit the problem and can be maintained, not because they are new.
